The little known 'man' behind *'s entry into politics (not ROVE!?)
Edited on Fri Jul-15-05 07:04 PM by Bluerthanblue
This isn't a 'new' interview, but one which i stumbled on, and was really surprised to find-

listen to how this man describes the nature of bush before he found religion-

"Doug Wead is a motivational speaker, a Bush family friend, and was a campaign adviser to George H.W. Bush in the 1988 presidential election. In this interview, he tells the personal story behind President Bush becoming in middle age a born-again Christian and, as someone who has closely observed Bush over the decades, he explains how the president's faith has had a tempering effect on who he is. " is the good angel of his personality. Without that faith, he is so hard, he is so decisive, he is so quick, he is so brutal, he is so unapologetic, so self-righteous…" he says. Wead also discusses evangelicals' growing impact in recent presidential elections and why,...."

i may be a 'fool' but the man he describes as 'pre-faith' bush sounds like the man that is, and has been the 'acting' leader since the get-go....???
Could he be any more quick, brutal, decisive, unapologetic and self-righteous???? God help us!

the interview is here-

1. It's sounds like Bush needs 'medicine'
"Without that faith, he is so hard, he is so decisive, he is so quick, he is so brutal, he is so unapologetic, so self-righteous"

3. In other words, a sociopath!
If George had not been born into the Bush dynasty,
he would most certainly be serving time in a federal prison
for some horrific violent crime against another person.
It IS his nature.

6. it is not my 'place' to 'judge' a persons
'faith'-
but, i DO believe in the 'by your works, you shall know them'-

And i haven't seen the 'works' of a person who has had a 'life-changing' experience.

He knows the 'buzz words' and uses them- but his actions are what SCREAM at me.

litteraly
