Saw Fahrenheit 9/11 tonight for the first time, note on DSM
Anyone notice Richard Clark mentioning "Because they had been planning to do something about Iraq from before the time they came into office"? It's at 43:40.

Sort of ties into the DSM.

And the Honorable John Conyers telling the truth...more power to the man.

Fahrenheit 9/11 leaves me sick to my stomach, and I find that I've been talking in the same language as Michael Moore all this time.

2. About time!
What made me sick to my stomach, was the Black Caucus asking a Senator to step forward. I had seen it on C-Span when it happened and cried when I saw it in F911.

6. I wrote my Senator, Barbara Boxer
and asked her why she didn't step forward. She told me it was because Al Gore didn't want them to.

I have nothing but respect for Al Gore but %@#%^&$%^%^$$^*&!!!!!!!!!

3. I have to say, when I saw this movie
I was angry all the way through it. I saw nothing in it that was funny. I walked out of the theater, fuming. I think it's an important movie to see, but I don't know if I could ever see it again.

5. Clarke
Yeah, Clarke is another guy they smeared for having an ounce of knowledge and integrity. I guess if your head is anywhere outside of your asshole, you're a freak. I'd have thought it the other way around.

7. Bush's former treasury Secretary, the Alcoa guy
whatever his name is, he said the same thing. He said they were talking about invading Iraq in the very first cabinet meeting he sat in on.

9. And no one blinks. Amazing what they're getting away with.
Worse, what they've yet to try in order to maintain everything they've set up.

Gas is back up to $2.65 a gallon for regular in LA. Considering BushCo ties to Enron and their interest in energy profits overall, you have to start blaming the people who voted for Bush for what we're paying at the pump.

1000, yay. Wish it could be in celebration instead of in reinforcement of the problem.

11. Paul O'Neill. He gave all those docs/CDs to Ron Suskind who wrote a book.

10. That movie laid out every issue the Dem. candidate for Pres. should have..
...used in 2004. When I first watched the movie, I just assumed we would ring the Repugs necks with all the talking points from that movie. I guess I assumed wrong...

12. The points WERE made...just not seen on your TV
Granted, Kerry and others didn't read verbatim from F911, but all the major points were made..I have footage. I saw it.

On edit: Kerry's obfuscations didn't quite drive the points home.

14. I've Watched It Three Times NOW!
What's truly amazing are some of the very SAME comments made since the film was made!!

Watch it more than once if you can! I posted the other day that it was one, I suppose they are featuring it this month! WHICH is great!

I took my husband to see it right before the election, and I being the political one in the family was really surprised by his reaction! It sure turned him around. Not that he was in the Idiot's corner, he just never "connected" a lot of the dots!

I've ALWAYS said the movie was very well made, and there's no way you can "dis" Moore for lack of "aggression"! I'm not sure I could have gone the whole nine yards.

Sure didn't pull any punches, and HEY, it's the TRUTH!!!!
