The most outrageous right win lie I've ever heard
I heard it on the 700 club last night. They said that the political left had formed an alliance with radical Islamic terrorists.

Yup, they really said it. It was so outrageous, I'm temporarily speechless. In the meantime, here's the link to the print version:

http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/news/050715a.asp

"It's alleged that the radical left in the west has forged an alliance with radical Muslims who want to destroy the west. CBN News witnessed this strange coalition in London in 2003: a massive anti-American, anti-war demonstration by radical leftists and radical Muslims. They are two groups with seemingly nothing in common except hatred of America, capitalism, and Israel."

"But much of what the left is now saying about the war on terror, Iraq, and Israel, is the same thing said by radical clerics on Arab satellite TV channels. At their joint demonstrations, the two groups speak the same language..."

"Leftists do not understand who they're dealing with," said David Horowitz, author of the book 'Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam and the American Left. Corporations are evil. There's a corporate ruling class,” he added. “And then along came these Muslims and they're blowing it up. Now, what did they blow up? They blew up Wall Street. The World Trade Center is the main target of the left. It's Wall Street..."

"But what will the radical left do now that radical Muslims have attacked a western city and could do it again? If the bombings in the west continue, radical leftists who have sided with radical Muslims against the war on terror could find themselves in a strange and dangerous situation."

Is there any hope for the people that believe this sh*t? Should we pray for them?

11. Good call, Mar
And like trolls, they poison the atmosphere of what could be reasoned, intelligent political discourse/debate with their bilge.

2. They have absolutely no shame whatsoever...
Bold faced liars. They DO pee on your leg and say it is raining...every single day. And if you call them on it, they will say YOU are crazy.

5. DAVIID HOROWITZ SHOULD BE COMMITTED TO A LOONY BIN!!
well do I remember, in the earliest days of my own antiwar activities, the late 60s, when he and another guy were editors of Ramparts magazine, which was (or it has become in my memory) a very cool leftist rag. He used to be an ANTIWAR LEFTIST. I don't know what the %#(& happened to him (& I believe it happened early on, many years ago), but now he's saying the same crapola that was said about him and others of his "ilk": we were consorting with COMMIES, COMMIES were organizing the antiwar movement, COMMIES were infiltrating the college campuses and recruiting students like MADMEN and WOULD TAKE OVER AMERICA.

Yeah, like there were so many times I was asked to "join a group" or "sign" anything in those anti-Vietnam days, all we did was sit around talking about how glorious Lenin was and call each other "comrade" ... :sarcasm:

somehow David "Whiner" Horowitz morphed into his own worst enemy, and he's too braindead to know what hit him.

Rightwingers Accuse Grover Norquist of Supporting 'Islamist Fifth Column'
10-Dec-03
Right Wing

In the introduction to a lengthy expose', David Horowitz writes, "On the basis of the evidence assembled here, it seems beyond dispute that Grover Norquist has formed alliances with prominent Islamic radicals who have ties to the Saudis and to Libya and to Palestine Islamic Jihad, and who are now under indictment by U.S. authorities. Equally troubling is that the arrests of these individuals and their exposure as agents of terrorism have not resulted in noticeable second thoughts on Grover's part or any meaningful effort to dissociate himself from his unsavory friends" - specifically Abdurahman Alamoudi, a supporter of Hamas and Hezbollah; Alamoudi's deputy, Khaled Saffuri; and Sami al-Arian.

and more

9. GHW Bush had breakfast with Saleem bin Laden
on the morning of Sept 11, 2001. Bush is the father of the current President of the US; bin Laden is the brother of Osama bin Laden.

Just who is truly allied with the radical Muslims?

10. Salem Bin Laden died in a plane crash in the 80's
Edited on Sun Jul-17-05 08:40 PM by AntiCoup2K4
...conveniently when Junior was trying to hide details of his past business failures. (Salem funded Junior's first oil company, Arbusto energy.)

It was another Bin Laden, Shafig, who met with Poppy and the Carlyle Group on the morning of 9-11-01.
