Run for Precint committee person, selcet man or what ever your state desigantes the party official to be and take over the party.....

Now is the time to find out what you have to do and where you have to go to run for the political organization office in your state....

That's who selectes the ward leaders, that's who selects the county leaders, That's who sends the delegate to elect the state chairman...

Stop [pissin and moaning and do it.............

But I have done my share, I burned out and now have to wear O2 where ever I go....

Spent 8 years as the treasurer of the democratic party

2 years on the board of the Battered Womans SHelter

2 years as the liason for our Unitarian church to the christian community....

food drive, marches, money, you name it I havedone it....

I'm just saying that people on this board, and other like minded boards, have to start getting more active in the party....

That is the way to take it back from the hacks in Washington.....

Larrisa, but please, if you can, get active in your local party...

It doesn't take that much but you wouldn't believe how much power is in the hands of the party regulars....

Especially if there is a block of lioke minded people involved....

The elected party activists control who is the chairman, who gets endorsed and who goes to the conventions......

I read that first line "get active and party" and thought you were inviting me over WC!! :bounce: :party: ;) (LOL!)

I'm active behind the scenes (with donations and with airbrushing banners, etc.) for our local Democratic party and candidates.

I can't do a whole lot visually though.. I'm work as a 911 dispatcher and the mayor's office frowns on muni employees being in political spotlights. Even if it's for him! :o He's an awesome Democrat ~ :hug: We love our mayor here!!

They need to stop. Take a breath. And before they pound out another insult to the DLC --- ask themselves...

Would I rather have a DLC Member, or would I rather have a Republican?

WCGreen doesn't hate the DLC.. :hug: But some people here do.

We honestly need to understand how important it is to support our Democrats regardless of where their moderate to liberal meter rates them!

For every thread here that bashes the DLC, we've wasted that much time doing something really important... like trashing the RNC :rofl:

Seriously though- I'm sick of the DNC vs. DNC threads too. I also think many of them are planted just to make members here argue with one another. Sorry guys... Just heard all about how they do that this past Friday.. :wow: Who knew !?!?!?
