A quick scan of today's frontpages at the Newseum shows that the story made the front page today on quite a few newspapers across the country.

1. Of course Repugs want this to be "inside the beltway" stuff...

and they've done everything in their power to diminish its signifigance But this story has a HUGE signfigance, about endangering a CIA agents and, as a result, threatening U.S. national security. I've got to think that the highly qualified intelligence officers with integrity have all left the agency, and it's now loaded with a bunch of political hacks who don't know what they're doing and will answer "Yes, Master" to whatever Bush/Cheney/Rummy ask.

2. Keep those cards & letters to editors coming in, folks!

When the people lead, the editors will follow... grudgingly in many cases, but they eventually cannot ignore a tidal wave of public discourse on a subject.
