"Damn Liberal Media" a letter to the editor
Damn Liberal Media

We have a Republican president, a Republican Congress and a Supreme Court dominated by seven Republican nominees. The mainstream media in this country are dominated by liberals. I was informed of this fact by Rush Limbaugh. And Thomas Sowell. And Ann Coulter. And Rich Lowry. And Bill O'Reilly.

And William Safire. And Robert Novak. And William F. Buckley Jr. And George Will. And John Gibson. And Michelle Malkin. And David Brooks. And Tony Snow. And Tony Blankely. And Fred Barnes. And Britt Hume. And Larry Kudlow. And Sean Hannity.

And David Horowitz. And William Kristol. And Hugh Hewitt. And Oliver North. And Joe Scarborough. And Pat Buchanan. And John McLaughlin. And Cal Thomas. And Joe Klein. And James Kilpatrick. And Tucker Carlson. And Deroy Murdock. And Michael Savage. And Charles Krauthammer. And Stephen Moore.

And Alan Keyes. And Gary Bauer. And Mort Kondracke. And Andrew Sullivan. And Nicholas von Hoffman. And Neil Cavuto. And Mike Rosen. And Dave Kopel. And John Caldera. And Matt Drudge.

On the X-Files they used to say "The truth is out there." I'm not so sure. And with everything going on in the world today I think we’re finding out why leaning too far to the right is wrong.

Daniel Soshnik, La Crosse, Wisc., in a letter to the editor of local newspaper

4. Yeah, but what about...
...all of those faceless, nameless liberals who don't actually make it onto the TV screen? Just because these few, poor, picked-upon GOP operatives are endlessly televised, screaming their reactionary opinions, unfettered by any sort of fairness-in-broadcasting regulations, it doesn't mean that the liberals don't control the whole thing. Besides, the author of this letter only named 43 low-profile conservatives in what I'm SURE is a sea of liberal commentary.

And what about the internet? Huh?

6. The sea of liberal commentary.
In the MSM is equal to the liquid in a tea cup as compared to the conservatives.

5. And in spite of their best efforts......a majority doesn't agree with them
Imagine that.

Can you imagine what a socirty we would have had if we had a liberal, progressive dominance of our media over the past 10 years? We'd have national healthcare, full and meaningful employment, no war, a balanced budget, and enhanced Social Security.

7. I totally agree, I wonder what the liberal commentary list would be?
If we had the television airwaves? We do have some radio liberal commentary, but can we name many on the TV? Al Franken on Sundance channel, and Amy Goodman on Democracy Now?

8. Not impressed by plagiarism
If you didn't write it, don't sign your name to it. It's dishonest.

10. But Daniel Sushnik did.
Edited on Tue Jul-19-05 03:54 PM by Touchdown
Sushnik, although with his heart in the right place, is still a plagarist. Mike Rosen Dave Kopel John (who is really Joe) Caldera are Local Denver right wing propagandists. How would some Cheesehead know about them?

11. I don't know who wrote it first either one or the other
Unless either George McClure or Daniel Soshnik can talk for themselves here.

The point is, it's still a good letter to the editor to send.

I don't think I was being attacked by lwfern

16. I guess you didn't read my posts in this thread
so who knows which came first. I think both are still good and if there is a problem then these two authors should discuss it . So if you want to flame me forget it.

17. Not trying to flame. Just asking a question.
If you don't know, then that's that. Nobody's attacking you. Put the dagger down.

12. I understood that

I didn't mean the "you" to be directed at the OP, it was meant as a general statement.

I should have been clearer.
