Hey! Clinton was/is a LIBERAL!!!! Who knew?
So sayeth NBC's Matt Lauer in his interview with Sen. Ted Kennedy this morning. (No link yet)

Lauer~"President Clinton won the election.... a liberal President got to nominate liberals for the Supreme Court, Rugh Bader Ginsberg and Stephen Breyer, why wouldn't a conservative get to nominate a conservative?"

There really wasn't much to the interview-Kennedy just said basically "we'll see"

Lauer is back in the fold.

I expect to hear this talking point all over the place today.

1. Well, compared to Lauer maybe he appears that way!
But, Clinton was not a "Liberal" in the true sense of the word. Two examples: WorkFare. NAFTA. I disagreed with him on both.

Clinton is a "Liberal" the way I am a "Victoria's Secret Lingerie Model" -- I could be... I belong to the female majority of Americans. Clinton could have been a "Liberal" -- he belonged to the right Party for that way of thinking. But, both of us had one thing that would preclude us from our "groups" -- No chance in hell of looking good in the "suits" we would be forced to wear. For Clinton, that was a choice. For me just a sad reality. LOL!

2. Shall we start a tally of every time we hear this TP?
It's Wednesday, so it'll be active all through the weekend, with another one popping up in time for Monday.

The problem with the press is that they are so effing lazy. Lauer takes just enough time in the morning to check his e-mail from the HF before he goes on camera.

of course I could be wrong but sliding that little misinformation in there is right out of the Repubs playbook.

8. I recognize that flag!
Just add some black stars, burn it following the inevitable Flag Burning Amendment, photograph the event, then post the negatives everywhere! The question is, have you then broken the law?

I know my post is not on-topic, but I'm just excited to see someone else with the same idea, and posted in living color, no less!

4. I heard it last night on M$NBC.......
Little Timmy was talking to Mr. Hair, Brian Williams and said the exact some thing.

It was scary it was like they were all told to say the same things :sarcasm:
