1. I plan to watch the confirmation hearings and decide then
I see no reason to get bent out of shape at this point. If his answers to judiciary committee members are not acceptable, then I'll take action to oppose him, but not now.

2. Unless we find...
that Roberts has committed a felony, we can't win this one. At least he didn't choose Janice Rogers Brown.

What scares me is that there could be three more in the next couple of years. Renquist and maybe Ginsberg could be gone at any time.

5. Ginsberg?
Why? Stevens is far more likely to leave first, since he is older. The codger better hold on until 2009 though. I'm sure he'll do his best to try to make it.

7. Stevens is old, but I've heard that Ginsberg isn't in...
the best health. If she and Stevens both go, that will make four. Very scary. Those four plus Thomas and Scalia make the court reactionary for the rest of our lifetimes.

This is the most significant political event since WWII.

8. Try cryogenic freezing then
Or hook them up to Terry Schiavo type life support,

cause those two cannot leave with Bush is president.

12. Here's the scoop on Ted
When he died, one of his relatives (son?) had him cryogenically frozen. His daughter and other members of the family sued and finally lost in court. There is much bad feeling within the Williams family. So, as it stands right now, Ted is frozen.

3. What can I say? * is a spiteful, hateful man.
But we need to fight anyway and keep our eye and the media's eye on the Karl Rove/Scooter Libby ball!
