Our Mission

Human Rights First works in the United States and abroad to create a secure and humane world by advancing justice, human dignity and respect for the rule of law. We support human rights activists who fight for basic freedoms and peaceful change at the local level; protect refugees in flight from persecution and repression; help build a strong international system of justice and accountability; and make sure human rights laws and principles are enforced in the United States and abroad.

1. Hard to tell, all of the informational sites on Roberts appear to be
...in lock down. Only official relaeses which are favorable to Roberts record seem to be open.

3. Range of voices calling for review of U.S. interrogation policies

Range of Voices Urge Review of U.S. Interrogation Policies

http://www.humanrightsfirst.org/us_law/etn/misc/call_commish.asp

Since the summer of 2004, Human Rights First — joined by eight retired admirals and generals — has called for an bipartisan independent commission to investigate what has happened at Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo, and the two dozen or so other facilities where the United States is holding and interrogating security detainees.
A range of voices — from President Jimmy Carter to Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly — have now begun to echo this call for an examination of U.S. policy:

Sen. Lindsey Graham
Bill Clinton
Jimmy Carter
Sen. Mel Martinez
Sen. Chuck Hagel
Sen. Joe Biden
Sen. John Warner
Rep. Curt Weldon
Rep. Nancy Pelosi
Tom Friedman
Bill O’Reilly
Floyd Abrams, Bob Barr and Thomas Pickering
