Two unrelated thoughts...

1. I realize no legislation has been proposed, let alone passed but I am afraid that private accounts will be added to a future SS bill in conference committee. After the House and the Senate pass their respective versions which, of course, will differ significantly, conference committees made of the GOP only will be used to resolve the differences. We should be on the lookout for this.

2. I saw no mention of Karl Rove in the Philly Inquirer this morning. Somewhere deep in the bowels of an unimportant-looking government building, high-level personnel in the Federal Office of MIHOP are putting out directives to their foreign-service personnel saying, "That's enough, boys. The second one got the job done!"

1. Some good points.

1. Yes, it could be sneaked into a bill as a referendum which may not be caught by the aides. The print version of these bills are pages thick, and I've heard before that sometimes it's too much for the aides to read, resulting in subjects being missed.

2.Quite a few of us think it LIHOP at the least, if not MIHOP.

These fascists need to be fully exposed, and Ledeen's fiascoes will go a long way toward that.
