Anyone watching C-Span recast of Dem/Plame Hearings? Who's NOT there?

It's shocking to see so far only Byron Dorgan, Henry Waxman, John Conyers, Russ Holt, Louise Slaughter, Jay Inslee... there may be some straglers coming in...but for the bulk of the hearing I've been watching...I only see these few stalwarts who are supporting what the Democrats of "Democratic Underground" have stood for since that STOLEN ELECTION OF 2000! In all this time...we have SO FEW who will STAND UP FOR US.

Where are the rest of them? Where are our other Democratic Senate and House Members who might be "wondering if they were lied to over Iraq Invasion? Where is Kerry? Why is he not standing up but where is Rockefeller and Jane Harmon and Joe Biden? Our Senate Intelligence Commitee Members are not there. WHY ARE THEY NOT THERE? Is the excuse.."we have to work with the Repugs?" How...at this point can that be an excuse? I hope as I watch they make an appearance. The hearing is going on but I've been watching over an hour and this is all I see.

I hope others decide to show up. Otherwise it looks like they are "trashing us" in favor of the Repugs. "Appearences" Count! Our House and Senate Dems could "claim" they were lied to ....and this means they should support this "off shore Hearing." OR, they were always in FAVOR OF IRAQ INVASION! Which is it? Does our Dem Party allow that some members of our party have to have "clandestine or offshore" Hearings over wrongdoings and they are distancing themselves from this? :shrug:

Slaughter, Conyers, Waxman, Inslee, Dorgan were THE ONLY Democrats willing to stand up to bush* and the Republican party.

These hearing wwere GREAT. They assigned responsibility to the ENTIRE REPUBLICAN PARTY, and NOT just bush* and his merry band of sociopaths!

This group od Democrats, plus a mere handful more are THE ONLY REASON I am still a Democrat.

Since there are no votes in Congress on Fridays, most people leave town to go home ... I still hope they SEE this hearing because it was absolutely cathartic to me. Larry Johnson ought to be ALL OVER the Sunday shows!!

8. Just a mild criticism, here.

I felt that there were too many repeat questions. I loved the panel but felt the questions were really kind of "retro" to news we already knew and had digested here on the "internets."

I wish they were going to do a PART II HEARING with more witnesses. I thought it was strong on "rehashing." But, then it was really more of a "fact finding hearing" the way the House & Senate USED TO DO before Gingrich and the Repug Jacakls CHANGED it.

I was so glad to watch it!!! That I wanted it to be harder hitting is only my own frustration with all these years of the Repugs in control...which goes back to Clinton's second term. After awhile one's sense of fairness just implodes and one want's JUSTICE! JUSTICE! JUSTICE!

Folks to show up for that hearing means they deserve a HUGE MEDAL OF HONOR!

And, I love that it shows which DEMS we here on the Underground are going to want to donate to and support to the last hour. I think we can now see our brave folks who are carrying our tattered Dem Flags and those are the ones who showed up for Conyers Election Hearings and the PlameGate Hearings. In another year we might just creat a NEW DEM PARTY!

With these brave/fearless folks on our side we've NOW weeded out the DINO'S like Biden/Lieberman/Dodd and the various others who talk some talk but can't walk any walk for the people of the DEMOCRATIC PARTY...or the DEMOCRATIC/PROGRESSIVE PARTY. :eyes:

17. Conyers alone deserves a medal

I heard parts of it on Randi Rhodes, then they replayed it on CSPAN 1 and I saw a part of it.

I felt so angry, :grr: realizing the damage they did. Or it all seemed so real with the testimony from former CIA.

What happens next?

1. They all turn on each other and rush to turn "state's witness" for immunity? :spank:

2. They do something still worse than what has already been done? :nuke:

3. They declare martial law on some very thin premise?

4. Civil war?

5. They know when they're beaten and are ridden out of town on a rail?

6. They gather to apologize so sincerely, and spend the rest of their lives making up for it? :P(We all need some laughs, just kidding on that one)
