It's only been a few days since the Supreme Court nominee was hurriedly announced in an attempt to get Karl Rove off the front pages. Since then, all hell has broken loose.

Bloomberg is reporting that Rove and Libby both gave testimony to the grand jury that flatly conflicts with the testimony given by those they said they talked to.

We now know that the Top Secret memo most consistent with the talking points that Rove and Libby told reporters was seen in the hands of Press Secretary Ari Fleischer in the days before the leak occurred. And that Fleischer told the grand jury he never saw it.

While we've been treated before to a series of fairly pointless leaks transparently by Luskin, Rove's attorney, since then we've been treated to far more significant leaks coming from the special counsel's office, the grand jury, and/or fellow witnesses unfriendly to Rove. Regardless of whether the leaks are intentional or not, it likely moves up Fitzgerald's timetable for any possible indictments -- once the information is public, and the defendants know what you're working on, it rapidly closes down avenues for further investigation, and it's time to put the cards on the table.

When all is said and done, if we find out that no one actually saw Fleischer with the memo, and Libby didn't really testify that Russert told him about Plame, and ... well you get the idea. Then we are told that these leaks were all bogus smears by the Dems and so therefore the whole case is bogus ya da ya da ya da.

I'm just saying I hope someone is positive about what is being leaked.

9. No, this is a classic example of a complex weave of lies coming unraveled.

The heat is on. Certain people have already squealed like pigs. The regime is back-pedaling. Today they became, possibly, contemnors by not complying with a court order to release the extra Abu Graibh tapes and videos.
This is all one big mind-boggling lie. It is now becoming apparent to the people that they have been lied to on a phenomenal scale. It will be soon apparent that very little can be done to save our nation. I fear that the Bu$h cabal will plunge us into a true world war (Iran, Syria, China, and North Korea) very soon, just to divert attention from their rape and pillage of several economies.
This country needs a family intervention this week. We need to put on the hot seat those leaders who are squandering over 225 years of sane and world-respected governance to line their mother-fucking pockets. And that is all that it is! Period! I spit on the fucking floor and say, goodnight!
