Headline writers: please, no more of "Bush touts"!
If I read the phrase "Bush touts" in another headline, I'm going to wind up having to replace my keyboard or monitor. This man has no right to 'tout' anything, period. The damage he has done to America in lying his way into war and by attacking those who would dare to set the record straight on his reasons for that war, negates any 'political capital' or moral stance he may have enjoyed with an election victory (assuming the victory was valid). Also, Bush's denying and/or ignoring the threats of global warming and peak oil have made it clear he values the well-being of big business interests over the future of America, mankind, and planet Earth. The conduct of his war and his government by himself and the likes of Rove/Cheney/Rumsfield makes me wish that Alcatraz could be rebuilt just to accomodate these clowns and their compadre's such as Bob Novak.

"Tout" (from dictionary.com): "To promote or praise energetically; publicize"

Bush Touts Social Security Plan

Bush touts conservation while pushing energy plan

Bush Touts Progress For Blacks

Bush Touts Iraq Progress

Bush touts second-term economic reforms

Bush Touts Patriot Act in Pennsylvania

Bush touts allied unity on nukes

Bush touts proposed trade plan

And a tout from Pickles:
Laura Bush touts husband

1. Actually headline writers occasionally...
....display a sense of humor.A post in the past week was titled "(Jeb) Bush Recounts"....as used in the sense to retell a story....I can scarce recall WHAT it was (Jeb) was recounting...I was to busy trying to keep from pissing in my pants....
