. . . but if it were true I would not be surprised. Sometimes it seems as though you can find a Republican's vice just by looking at what he excoriates most loudly. How many anti-gay Repubs have turned out to be closeted gays (and freaky ones at that)? How many pro-family Repubs are on spouse #2 or #3 (or more)?

Dems and liberals, on the other hand, tend not to pounce on these types of things. As far as sexuality, I expect the thinking is that it's a complete non-issue until they make it one (name one Republican that has been outed as gay, who hadn't first stunk up the airwaves with hateful rhetoric).
