People are slowly realizing what the DLC really is (by Matt Taibbi)
People are slowly coming to understand what the DLC is. You are a tiny gang of needle-nosed cubicle slaves hired to sell out the genuine political aspirations of millions of people. You have been hired to rush from newsroom to newsroom badmouthing almost every principle your constituents have held for decades, and to propagandize at every opportunity the hopelessness of such ideas as peace, tolerance and ideological backbone.

2. Yeah, I'm starting to get suspicious of this backlash.
Aren't these the people who brought us Bill Clinton, one of the most popular presidents in recent history? Blame bad strategies where it is due, but damn.

3. That's the point
They mistake political partisanship with ideas.

Bush is bad. But he and the republicans are not the sole source of our problems. Things were bad when Bush took over. He only has made them worse.

And the DLC Democrats helped things get bad by abandoning Liberalism 101 and getting into bed with the corporate elite. .

5. I'm in love with Matt Taibbi
Well, maybe not love, but an huge unseemly crush, anyway.

You just know any letter that begins, "Dear Fuckhead," is going to be good.
