DSM: Have they won?
Seems like the DSM, at least the energy behind bringing them to light and doing something about them, are waning. These clowns give us so much to choose from, picking battles is difficult. And they're expert in outwaiting trouble (is DeLay still in office?)

1. Or better... If we can take them down, will it be from a single large item
such at the DSM, or from an overwhelming number of small items stacking up alongside and endless resistance to explain them in any sort of meaningful manner?

4. Taking them down? Not even close!
Even if we take this crowd down, there is an endless line of republican trash, waiting in line to win over the hearts of Americans. Our target should be taking down Conservative ideas. Bush's biggest crime is that he is a neo-conservative.

The Rove scandal is getting us away from the fundmental argument that Conservatism is bad for 90% of Americans. Don't get me wrong, I hope Rove gets tossed in jail....but let's remember that we'll never win elections until we convince voters that progressive policies (unions, environmental protections, equal rights, strong education, social safety net, etc.) offer the best future.

2. they have muddied the water no doubt...
it is all about diversion & propaganda, the extent to which they propagate their own, handcrafted myths; is the extent to which they have won and yes...delay is still in office. after election 2000 in-particular imo they now understand that the clock can & will be run out before our eyes & what a short attention span will not account for, apathy will

3. Umm, no?

Did you read the stories yesterday that show that the Plame investigation has grown wide enough to include trying to determine what actions were taken in the White House to address criticisms that they were inventing evidence as a justification for war? This links the Plame investigation to the information contained in the DSM.

5. The mills of God grind slowly?
(But they grind exceedingly small...)

6. DEMs with media access refuse to talk about it on TV or in the papers.
Prove me wrong- what did Kerry, Dean, Hillary, Obama, Ried, etc say about it today-yesterday- last week- the week before that?

Oh- thats right- we are supposed to blame the GOP owned media for what DEMs refuse to say.

11. I Posted Yesterday, I'm Thinking GREEN!
I'll probably still vote as a Democrat but I DO plan to start attending Green Party meetings very soon. Maybe I'll feel a little better or maybe we can CONNECT and fight "the corrupt ones" together in a VERY BIG WAY!!

Let's All try to March on September 24th in D.C. and MAYBE, just maybe the MEDIA will cover it. But not unless we have a HUGE crowd!!

7. Apparently today's topic is how much we hate the DLC
I guess the DSM was just a new toy, and we've tired of it. God knows fighting people in your own party is so much more important than whether your president knowingly got you into a war.

:sarcasm:

9. Patience
The leak is exposed.
There will be more investigations.
The DSM will be thoroughly covered.
The Texas prosecutor is on DeLay.
God is pissed.

10. Hardly
It may not be front page news at the moment, but that's because leakgate is. Leakgate is understood by many in the context of the DSM.

Also, many recent polls show an increase in the number of people who believe that Bush and Company deliberately misled the nation into war against Iraq. That is a result of the DSM.
