HAs anybody read santorum's book?
I may have misheard this on CNN this morning BUT one of the reporters sounded like she said that he's hard on working moms (a given) but he also claims that unmarried mothers should NOT try to better their lot by attending college.... or that they should be denied (?)

1. I've just looked at a couple of passages.

My impressions are vague, but the general feeling I got is that he's repeating a good many of the usual talking points -- i.e., suggesting that liberals are somehow anti-family. Many people misinterpreted Hillary Clinton's It Takes a Village to mean that it's all down to government to run our personal lives. :eyes:

Anyway, the next time I see a copy of Santorum's book, I will look for the passages you describe. Let's hope there's a decent index!

On edit: Slightly off-topic, but look at Catholics for Faithful Citizenship's commentary on Santorum's voting record.

2. when i saw that the crayons cost extra, i decided against buying it.
it's currently #38 on amazon.com. lots of bulk sales, i'm sure.

i enjoy going to bookstores and turning over books written by and about conservatives. let the back of the book face the buyer. just a small way of showing my disrespect.
