Changing the Name

The Bush Administration is changing the name of the War on Terrorism. Instead of War on Terrorism it will now be called the Global Fight Against Extremist Fighters or something like that. Administration official said the name change came about in that the wanted to make people realize that the fight was not just about the military it went beyond that. My thing is this, wasn't it the Republican who made this about the military. It was the Republicans who bashed Democrats for not focusing so much on the military.

2. It's nothing more than typical Bushco "rebranding" for marketing purposes.

If they keep calling it a war, they have to admit they're losing. There's always a winner and a loser in war.

It's still about the military. It will always be about the military. That's what puts money in their defense contractor buddies pockets.
