We now have our "gay marriage" issue for 2006 and/or 2008
As this post http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=1961601&mesg_id=1961601 points out, the Christofacists in the GOP are now making their move on blocking BIRTH CONTROL.

We need to make this the GOP's tar baby. There is no doubt the overwhelming majority of Americans support unfettered acces to birth control for adults. We should seek to make this issue referenda in various swing states and swing districts, to pull out dormant Democratic and independent voters on election day. Let's club these fuckers over the head with issue until they beg for mercy.

2. Rich people that own companies do not want their daughters knocked up
This is going to be highly unpopular with Americans in general, many of whom want to screw unfettered--including lots of "righteous" young republicans. The fundievangelicals' hubris will catch up with them someday. I do not that that day is far off.

5. Reminds me of Mad Magazine's Moral Majority application from the early 80s
One of the questions was "Are you against abortions for homosexuals?"

6. Surprised they haven't gone after vasectomies too...
...or have they?

Good thing I had mine done when I did...though some of my more hardnosed brethren would likely have my head on a pike if they knew. :D Hope they don't start rounding up people that can't reproduce... :scared:
