I got kicked out of the "Freerepublic" site!

It was so funny...I just went to the site for the first time in my life and the posts were so ridiculous I just HAD to join and add my 2 cents. The post I responded to was about embryonic stem cell research and mentioned the Schiavo case. I wrote this:

"Do you realize how many people have their feeding tubes removed every DAY? Do you also realize that if you agree with in-vitro fertilization, you already believe that it's ok to "create life in order to destroy it" since there are ALWAYS extra "embryos" that end up being discarded? Why not use these cells to find cures for people who are ALIVE? You guys who use the Keyes/Brownback theory that embryonic stem cell research is equivalent to slavery better realize that women who go through IVF must then be considered 'slave holders.'"


Then when a poster responded: "I don't think you read the article... The pro-death talking points you espouse might be better received on DU" I tried to respond, but it said my posting privilege has been revoked!

I can't believe so many people can truly be as ignorant as these people are!

They were discussing how an abortion is NEVER necessary to save the life of the mother. Right. :sarcasm: A couple of Freepers mentioned an ectopic pregnancy as once case where it was necessary.

One Dr. Einstein adamantly posted, "No, that is not necessary either." She went on to proscribe BED REST until the pregnancy reached 22 WEEKS and then an emergency Cesarean could be done. Then the baby would be old enough to survive.

Well, as somebody who had a 5 week tubal pregnancy burst, with subsequent internal bleeding, I went on to answer her. I gave her information on the size of a fallopian tube, how it cannot stretch like the uterus, etc. etc. All I did was list the medical facts. I was booted from the site.

I guess they want to keep the sheep blind and ignorant.

Probably just as well, I guess. If you could search within the comments, you would have to know how to misspell words as well as they do. If you typed the word "loosers" in, it would return too many results.

Why in a repub state (Texas) can doctors pull feeding tubes even if the family disagrees. And "shrub" was the one who signed it. It gives 10 days to find a new hospital which will take the patient. Unless the family has insurance or can pay for it. Remember when it comes down to right to life repubs have it as number one, unless its number two after the money. :sarcasm:
