Ah, what's the matter? Did little old Marky embarrass you guys at the Gazette? Did we make so much fun of him that you reacted to the utter stupidity? Oh, and BTW, he is a sportswriter for your paper?
Here's little Marky Billson.

http://pittsburghlive.com/x/tribune-review/opinion/columnists/whispers/s_358571.html

DON'T BE SEEN IMITATING DEAN'S SCREAM. "Pittsburgh Post-Gazette editors were none too happy that a part-time writer for the paper won the recent "Howard Dean Scream-Off" contest.

The P-G has threatened to relieve Marky Billson, 34, of Hazelwood, from his sportswriting duties after Billson won the competition. The contest coincided with Dean's recent appearance at the Church Brew Works in Lawrenceville.

Billson, a member of both the city of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County Republican committees, won the contest with a blistering impression of Dean, the Democratic National Committee chairman.

We're a bit puzzled over the P-G's ire.

If the folks over there were so upset at Billson participating in a politically partisan event, why did the newspaper run a photo of him shouting into a bullhorn on its story on the competition?"

2. No, it was in the paper.
It really was. Two of them in fact. Do a search on my threads that date.

Here is the original link. It got a lot of attention, and a lot of people contacted the GOP there and the papers. Guess they noticed.

5. I am seeing letters to editors slamming this contest.

"Fair contest continues GOP habit of defaming opponent

Just when I thought the Republicans couldn't get any more childish and lame in their attempts to debase Democrats, I received an e-mail advertising the "Howard Dean Scream Contest at the Delaware State Fair," poking fun at an incident that occurred on the night of the Iowa caucus in which a howl by Dean was recorded and made eminent by the press.

Through years of observing political campaigns, I have noticed that the Republican Party tends to win elections and votes by defaming the opposition, using any slight deficiency as a weapon amongst their arsenal of propaganda. In contrast, the Democrats are much more focused on advocating the policy and the welfare of the people whom they represent. I only hope that the general public can look beyond the shams and gimmicks which have plagued past elections and in the future select a candidate who will actually represent their best interests."

And another one:

Scream contest
EDITOR: It is no small coincidence that the Star-News would place an
inappropriate quarter-page page coverage of a “scream contest” mocking the
passions of former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean by young Republicans on the same
page marked “Obituaries/South.”

It is this same kind of reckless arrogance and mockery displayed by such a
contest that has placed flowers around the deaths of brave men and women in
a war on terror fought in the wrong country with no plan and no exit, the
constant attempts to bury diversity and community with right-wing divisive
rhetoric, and the embalming of McCarthisitic values, propped up to appear
like American values of civil liberties. ...
