Another question about Roberts. Church and Death Penalty. |

There is a lot of discussion about whether Roberts' Catholic faith would compel him to support overturning Roe. Do you think Roberts would also be influenced by the Catholic Church's opposition to the death penalty in deciding death penalty cases? Could someone ask the bishop who suggested refusing communion to pro-choice Catholic politicians whether they should also be refused communion for supporting the death penalty? Surely the Church's opposition to the death penalty is just as important as its opposition to abortion.
And what about the war in Iraq? I believe the church also opposes that.
