On the same day I decided to run for congress, all of you were having a discussion about using this race to try new tactics. In the military, we were taught maneuver warfare, and we make the best out of what we're given. You've given me support from all across the country, so let's make the best of it and try out a different model of GOTV.

On the ground, we're doing everything we can to turn out our supporters. We've been walking, calling and ID'ing and we'll do what we can to get them to the polls.

But let's also use a distributed model - think of the Kevin Bacon game.

I need all of you to send an email to everyone you know, and ask them to send it to everyone they know. If we can spread this virally to around 2 million people, statistically around 5,000 voters in the district will get an email from somebody they know asking them to vote for me on Tuesday.

This is a tough district and turnout will be very low. This is something that could help push us over the top and is a way everyone who can't make it here can volunteer. Let's keep the message short:

On Tuesday, August 2nd there is a special election in Ohio's 2nd congressional district. Please join me in helping to send an Iraq War veteran to congress. Please forward this email to everyone you know asking them to support Paul Hackett.

Money is at the root of American politics, and if he doesn't get it from us, he will have to get it from Special and Corporate Interests.

If you want this strong voice of Democratic Independence to be able to keep speaking his mind, and not their mind, please keep donating.

Wite your e-mails, do your phone-banking, whatever -- but keep donating, as well. Our money is the only clean money in pokitics today.

I'll stop if it gets one more vote for the greatest page - at least that way more people will be able to see it and start to send.

Not everybody has the resources to donate and this is a good and easy way to help out and it was requested by Major Hackett himself.

The polls open tomorrow morning so there's not a lot of time left.
