2. He'll be under a microscope
Every stupid comment and strong-arm tactic will inflame the world. He won't do anything to foster an atmosphere of cooperation. Hell, he'll be lucky if he's not thrown from the roof!

5. Zip. Nada.
Bush didn't do Bolton any favors. The U.N. will put him in a box, and he will be totally ignored. If he rants and raves, they'll just turn off their interpreters. He's going to accomplish squat.

8. I don't know about that, BUT
my understanding is that they CAN kick the U.S. off the permanent Security Council if we keep screwing up.

7. Hard telling, but you can bet our tax dollars
will be used to bribe other countries for votes.

9. I can think of one
The "No Giving Swirlies to U.S. Ambassadors Act of 2006." The French and Germans will allow it to come to a vote so they can smirk and giggle while Bolton is testifying to the mortification the felt when day after day, every time he went into the Gents, a pack of other ambassadors would follow him in and stick his head in the toilet and flush, then walk out laughing.
