They hate the U.N. but have no problem in submitting our trade to regulation by CAFTA.

Bush/Cheney are not schizoid - but they will use lies, misdirection, distortions, or whatever else is needed to get what they want.

You can tell what they want -not by what they say- but by what they do.

CAFTA will weaken the US.

The "reforms" will strengthen the UN.

and don't think for a minute that they will be unaware that FTAA will entangle the US in a regional government and undermine our country's independence.

6. They have hated the UN since 1948!

The top Republican to the United Nations conference in San Francisco was none other than John Foster Dulles. Eleanor Roosevelt, who chaired the US delegation, said that Dulles was chomping at the bit at the prospect of Truman losing the 1948 election so that he could become the US delegation's chair. Dulles wanted to ensure that the UN died at birth!

Eleanor described a crestfallen Dulles after the unexpected Truman defeat of Dewey.

Yep, Republicans have always hated the UN, just as they did love Hitler prior to Pearl Harbor. The Republican Party is a party of traitors!
