Today, the man in this picture could be very happy. You see, his party, the Democrats, could win a solidly Republican Congressional district in a special election.

Today is the special election to fill the seat of Rep. Rob Portman (R-OH).

The insano-Democrats are running a John-Kerry-like caricature of a soldier for this seat. His name is Paul Hackett, and he’s an ultra-liberal “Iraq War veteran” who opposes the war. In Kerry-like fashion, there is some question about Hackett’s purported combat experience, the sole theme of his candidacy. He seems to have served as a civil affairs officer, never seeing actual combat.

Ultra-liberal veterans, like loony General Weasel Clark and bitter former senator Max Cleland (D-GA), have moved straight to Hackett’s campaign, after failing to save Kerry’s presidential hopes.

Exceeding even Kerry’s pro-Communist rhetoric during the Vietnam War, Hackett publicly calls President Bush “the son-of-a-bitch that lives in the White House.” He also calls him “a chicken hawk … a person who advocates war in a cavalier way.”

The Republican running for the seat, Jean Schmidt, is a solid conservative who deserves your support. She will stand up for America. She will stand up for the troops. She will stand up for the unborn. She will stand up for the taxpayer. And she will stand up for you. If you live in the district, please get out and vote today!

Send a message to the ultra-liberals who hate America. Vote for Jean Schmidt today!!

Or Hackett will win, and the flag burners will be delighted with their stupendous victory.

NOW hear is one of the sickest parts. I questioned these people on how dare they question a mans service to thier nation, the responce I got...

Also, he was questioning the legitimacy of his service in Iraq, saying he only did it to come home and add it to his resume when he runs for office.

14. This is how I have answered them in the past. about the "Swifts".

My friend, you have that backwards. First, all the "Swifts" were not veterans. Second, most of them who were, never even served with Kerry. Third, their head smearer, John O'Neill, arrived in Nam months after Kerry left, yet pretends to know more about Kerry's service than do the men who actually served with Kerry.

And fourth, sad to say, even tho some of them were actually veterans, they are now nothing more than right wing republican hacks. Otherwise, why would they try to trash a fellow veteran? Disagree with his politics, but trashing his service is over the top.

Democrats were not trashing the Swift vets. They just wanted the Swift vets to stop their attack and their lying about John Kerry.
