Ironic - 6 Marines killed today all from Ohio - the Crap Hackett took

I though it ironic in light of the crap Hackett has been taking and in light of what OxyRush and the other chickenhawks have been spewing.

Six Marines from a northeast Ohio division were killed in Iraq Monday, ONN affiliate WEWS reports.

The Marines were part of the Third Battalion 25th Marine Regiment. That is a reserve unit out of Brook Park.

Lt. Col. Kevin Rush said that the Marines were part of a sniper unit who were killed in action near Haditha, 140 miles northwest of Baghdad.

"It is a sad and somber day. We want to extend our sympathies and condolences to the families. Our thoughts and prayers are with them," Rush said.

Five of the victims are from northeast Ohio. One is from out of the area, Rush said.

An Ohio Marine was killed while on a mission with a sniper unit in Iraq, his family said Tuesday.

Sgt. Nathaniel Rock, 26, was one of at least five Marines killed Monday in action, the military told his family.

"He was very proud to be a Marine," said his mother, Adriana Rock. She did not know details of her son's death.

Rock joined the Marines after graduating from Toronto High School in 1997 and served for six years, his mother said. He then joined the reserves and had been serving in Iraq since March.
