"You have my heartfelt hope the tyrants do not summon you back to active duty in retaliation." (Needed correction shown in bold; I hope you can make it right.)

(I think there's a major probability Bush will order Hackett back to active military duty and send him again to Iraq in retaliation for his campaign. This sort of government vengeance was commonplace during the Vietnam Era, and the people now in power are many many many times more vindictive than anyone who was around then, even Nixon.)

As to "Newswolf56," that's how I'm known here and for now I'd like to leave it that way. But thank you -- thank you very much for passing on my thanks, and thanks again if you can make the correction.

When I am about at the end of my rope regarding the future of America and am seriously considering leaving, it is Patriots such as you who give me pause. Thanks for your service to this country, both in the Military and in running for office. Don't let this setback deter you from conidering future runs. More than anything else, America needs people of your character to lead us out of the abyss that the current group of charlatans and thieves in D.C. have put us in. I'm looking forward to your eventual arrival in Washington.
