We learned that tearing down our politicians after a contest, whether we agree with them or not, is a pointless waste of time.

Also, Hackett made a decent run with few mistakes, said what we wanted to be heard when he was handed the MSM loudspeaker, and didn't frustrate us with an under-aggressive campaign that refused to put to bed the bullcrap the rethugs came up with. He took every slur and turned it right back on them. Not many people are disappointed with him, so there will be little "screaming" at him.

Unlike Kerry. Though most of us eventually got to admire him towards the end as his character stood up for the most part, watching him campaign was like getting your teeth pulled. Or, like watching your favorite sports team go up against the worst team in the league and just not play very well. Not that I think Kerry would have lost without fraud, but his campaign was poor, poor, poor.

Now, respectfully approaching the Hacket campaign about the F word, that's another matter, but I don't think screaming is in order.
