more than three years before the next election, you might want to develop a tougher hide. Just saying.

We here use kid gloves with each other, because we're all on the same side, but the pukes won't bother with such niceties.

3. Beat me to it--I remember them well. Vitamin E cleared up most |
|
of the scars, but there's still some stubborn ones.
Kid gloves? More like brass knuckles!

4. I think I was just lurking then. |

But are you accounting for freepers in disguise? Are you talking about "real" DU members launching cruise missiles at each other?

5. Yes indeed. that's why there are two GD forums; some wanted |
|
to discuss politics without having to wear body armor.
And these were indeed real DUers.
I don't discount that there were a few disruptors from both sides of the fence, but most of it was just us.

And some battles fiercer, bloodier, and more diehard than anything the Kerry campaign directed towards Bush. Which is the real point, isn't it?

7. and link your sales pitch to the issues |
|
i'm so tired of hearing candidate x could win in the South or candidate y is the only Democrat who can beat McCain ... there's little or no substance to this kind of analysis (this early) and it offers absolutely no explanation of where the candidate stands on the issues or why he or she will be better for the country ...
it's shallow and i never read it ...
if you just can't resist pushing a candidate, try providing some details about where they stand on the issues ...
