...the subpoena requested a list of those in attendance at the White House reception on July 16 for former President Gerald Ford's 90th birthday. The White House at the time announced the reception would honor Federal Reserve Board Chairman Alan Greenspan, but said the event was closed to the press. The White House Thursday
declined to release the list and the Gerald R. Ford Foundation, which paid for the event, did not return phone calls. <snip>
<snip> ....It requested records of telephone calls to and from Air Force One from July 7 to 12, while Bush was visting several nations in Africa.
The White House declined Thursday to release a list of those on the trip.SUBPOENAED DOCUMENTS OF NOTE - Ari's Press Gaggle July 12, 2003, AF1 Phone Records (from July 7 to 12), all documents from July 6 to July 30 of the White House Iraq Group (WHIG) The members of the White House Iraq Group are:

We know that Fitzgerald subpoenaed the complete transcript of his July 12, 2003 press gaggle conducted at a hospital in Nigeria. We know that he subpoenaed telephone records for Air Force One during a portion of the trip. We also know that he subpoenaed the July 6 to July 30, 2003 records of the White House Iraq Group, a public relations kind of task force formed by Cheney's staff to promote the Administrations' view of the war. <snip> Transcripts and excellent analysis of gaggles found at

Bush’s rigidly disciplined, relentlessly political regime, Rice by both commission and omission was integral in perpetrating the original fraud of Niger, and then inevitably in the vengeful betrayal of Plame’s identity. None of that spilling of secrets for crass political retribution could have gone on without her knowledge and approval, and thus complicity. Little of it could have happened without her participation, if not as a leaker herself, at least with her direction and with her scripting.<snip>
FITZGERALD KNOWS ABOUT GANNONhttp://www.niagarafallsreporter.com/slaughterhelp.html http://www.house.gov/judiciary_democrats/fitzgeraldgann... <snip> This latest effort comes in the wake of Rep. Louise Slaughter's Feb. 9 letter to Bush concerning the Guckert affair. Along with Rep. John Conyers of Michigan, she has asked Patrick Fitzgerald, the special prosecutor investigating the leak of CIA operative Valerie Plame's identity to the media, to look into Guckert's role in that case, and called on the Government Accountability Office to include Guckert in its probe of mainstream media figures who accepted payola to promote the Bush administration agenda.
In an interview with "Editor and Publisher" last week, Guckert revealed he had kept a personal diary during his two years at the White House, said it was about 200 pages long, and suggested it might become the basis for a book. Slaughter jumped on the statement.
"I hope the Special Prosecutor will take seriously the revelation that Mr. Gannon kept a detailed diary of his time inside the White House," she said. "He may find many answers to the questions we have sought surrounding Mr. Gannon's White House access on those pages."
In a Feb. 23 letter, Slaughter and Conyers called on Fitzgerald to subpoena the diary. <snip>
