Hyde Comments on Bolton Appointment
(WASHINGTON) – U.S. Rep. Henry J. Hyde (R-IL), chairman of the House International Relations Committee, commented today on the appointment of John Bolton to serve as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations:
The challenge of reforming the United Nations is a monumental one. By appointing John Bolton to the UN post, the President has sent a clarion call to the international community that the United States is serious about reform, and any failure to act swiftly may condemn the UN to irrelevancy. Ambassador Bolton brings to this vital task a potent intellect and much-needed energy to jump-start long-overdue UN reforms.

Excuse me, I need to :puke:
Now maybe the House International Relations Committee can get on to real business, like Rep. Barbara Lee's resolution for the State Department and WH to release all relevent Iraq planning memos to Congress?
