first, to answer your question the way you intended it, i suppose you would have to record the video using a product like streamRipper and then maybe it could be rehosted on another site ... i'm not sure what technical constraints are blocking Firefox from running the video ...

i still have IE on my machine although i now use Firefox exclusively ...

my comments on the video are:
1. it was mostly cheerleading and did not provide much information to those not familiar with Kerry
2. Kerry should call for withdrawal from Iraq ... what was the point of showing the traumatized Iraqi child or the marines on fire in front of a tank ... those who don't stand up and call for withdrawal are prolonging the violence of everyone involved ... even if you don't agree with this position, is there something Kerry has done that is worthy of credit regarding Iraq? i appreciate he would be handling the situation differently, but in my book those that support continued occupation are part of the problem; not part of the solution ...

those who cannot see that there will be no positive outcome while US troops remain in Iraq will never receive my campaign work, my financial support or my vote ever again ...

I'm in awe. It was so good. I'm actually tearing up. It was powerful. If this is your first time, and you liked the process, you've found your calling.

I know not everyone here likes Kerry, but it really should be seen by all, it is a piece of art.

Maybe BenBurch or CrooksandLiars could post it on their site. I would love to have Kerry see it. It would certainly warm his heart.

I'm afraid I found my calling about a quarter century ago, and it's not nearly as exciting as creating music videos. I did like the process, though. I guess art, if you want to call it that, is a very personal thing.

17. I was wishing as I watched this that Kerry would see it and

remember who he was. This is a very good first vis. I think that your sence of timing was good and worked well with the music. The fade outs were also very effective. I think that if I was still not so mad at Kerry for giving up the election so fast that I could have appreciated more what you were trying to do. I still appreciate who he was, but Kerry's halo is tarnished for me.

I'd LOVE to be able to watch it, but I'm still on dial-up (not by choice) and it's simply going to take far too long to download. 10 minutes into it, and I was only about 1/5 of the way in, and that wasn't while I was trying to load other pages either.

It was simply WONDERFUL, even if the quality was not "perfect".

I know Kerry is a touchy subject with many people, but I'll tell ya - I'd vote for him again in a heartbeat. Even a year after I hooked onto the image of him taking the Oath of Office, I just can't let it go.

If I don't see that image become a reality in my lifetime, maybe it will be in my next one.
