1. oh wow....
man,
but really, what else can a decent human being say to this situation?
I refuse the stereotype that all Republicans are crazy and/or heartless, musguided yes, but not inhuman.

thus began the divide between BushCo and the Republican Party.

4. Allen is running for chimp's job in 08 and
is trying to get as much tv facetime as possible, especially facetime appearing compassionate. (He has enormous racial skeletons in his closet to overcome.)

He went on to add that he'd tell Cindy her son is a great hero for advancing the cause of "freedom" in the Middle East.

Let the record show that when Allen could have been defending "freedom" in Vietnam, he was in college and, later, law school.

Allen's comments are here:

5. the more people tell him to do the decent thing the more he WON'T do it
bush does not respond to being told to do anything - we all know - he'll do the opposite.

How can they, rove and the other cockroaches, come up with an 'compassionate' answer to Cindy Sheehan without bush losing face?

He will not do it.

Instead, they'll let the dogs have repeated runs at her - unleash the mudslingers, see how long she'll last on that dirt road - wait - have they let her out of the ditch?

This woman is full, totally full of light, energy and goodness and is carrying a really big stick. And like she says, she has a big mouth.

Sen Allen is an imbecile - but it's good to hear him speak out about her.

9. Allen is merely looking to score some political points here.
This is a guy whose idea of office decor is a hangman's noose. This is a transparent attempt to appear compassionate.

However, he'd better watch what he says. Crossing the BFEE is not a good idea for anyone hoping to take chimp's place in 08.

11. I agree.
I think mainstream America is starting to wake up, and the 2008 wannabes are testing the political waters. First Frist with stem cells, then Santorum on intelligent design, and now Allen with this. Allen's playing it safe here-he's scum.

And worthy of some grudging respect.

Edited on Sun Aug-07-05 09:42 PM by kwolf68
must have a spell.

This morning in reading the Washington Post I saw an article about Allen or Mark warner for the White House and I mentioned to my wife how that would be a donnybrook.

She said, "Allen's my man"....

My wife?

Pro-Choice
Anti-Death Penalty
Pro Public Schools
Pro Evolution
Solid on environment
Is a homeless advocate and works "in the field"

How on earth does a women like this say Allen is "my man"...I simply responded to her that he was scum and the conversation was thus terminated.

14. How does your wife feel about racism?
What would she say about someone who would vandalize a public school with racist graffiti? What would her reaction be if she sought legal advice and noticed a hangman's noose in the lawyer's office?

This is who George Allen is -- a 53 year old man whose hobby has been racism since his days as a teenager in California.

Allen is a fraud. A phony Southerner. A phony "family values" Christian. A lower than pond scum racist.

Your judgment is right on.
