Why do you think Cindy Sheehan is receiving media coverage?
Edited on Sun Aug-07-05 10:06 PM by senseandsensibility
She was very vocal during the 2004 Presidential election, but she was practically ignored. Instead, the swiftboat liars were given carte blanche. And by then, it was already obvious that the war was based on lies.

Is it just because *'s poll numbers are down? If it is, that's why poll numbers are important. They swing the entire debate to our side.

1. MEDIA WHORES WANT TO APPEASE US JUST AS MUCH
as the fucking politicians.
They give us the stories they think will entertain us.
Do you think they don't sense to shift going on right now?
It's practically palpalable in the air.
They sense it, they are trying to profiteer off of it.
So lets ride it baby, as far as it will go...

3. yes, the media wants its money. And they're switching to the side with
the money. AND they don't have anything to lose becuase they've already allowed Bush to stay in office and let them keep getting away with their crimes.

PLUS they say, hmmm...november 50-50 probably some fruad but not enough to lose money over.

BUT now they say, "hmmm...70-30...better get with the 70 or we'll lose LOTS of money."

Well, it's too late. A bunch of us have tuned them out. They have made themselves irrelevant. I and a group of us will wait for indy-media to launch. THen we can flock there and tell them to: "Shove it!"

4. the reporters at the ranch are probably not doing much and maybe
they're tired of watching monkey cut grass or whatever he does there. They can create a story here and that's fine with me...he needs to be put on the spot with this issue.

I don't know why they care about her, but it's great to see her on National TV.

6. The media doesn't want to miss that cataclysmic "Walter Cronkite" moment
Edited on Sun Aug-07-05 10:40 PM by Coastie for Truth
It's like an earthquake - the plates grind slowly past each other for 30 years building up stresses -- and then in one cataclysmic moment the stress is relieved as the Trans Bay Bridge collapses into the lower deck and the top deck of Interstate 880 collapses.

There may be one movement, one gesture, one expression that captures the cataclysmic moment when the public realizes - time to get out of Iraq and come home. They don;t want to miss it.
