Bush can't have a meeting with Cindy Sheehan.
Edited on Mon Aug-08-05 08:16 AM by Inland
After all, Bush's on a five week vacation, and do you know how many dead soldiers he's going to make in that five weeks? All of their mothers are going to want to tell Bush off, and jeez, at five minutes apiece, that's........I don't know, five or six hours listening to not-rich Americans. He hasn't done that yet and isn't going to start on his five week vacation now that he's got his mandate.

This is the guy whose "public" appearances are limited to supporters. What good is it being president if you have to spend time with somebody telling you something you don't want to hear?

But having said that, I have a way for Cindy Sheehan to get a meeting.

If Cindy Sheehan wants to talk to the president, she shouldn't give her son to the service of the country. Bush doesn't care about that.

She should give the RNC ten thousand bucks. Then she'd get her three minute meeting and Bush will gladly listen to anything she has to say.

1. Hopefully we all get our 5 minutes with him!
If not in person, then in the 5 minute intervals for each one behind bars!!!

3. The not-rich are so, so, so
unhappy. And you can't just promise them a tax cut to cheer them up. Ew.

5. Seriously. It's so goddam EXPENSIVE to keep 'em happy!
Plus, none of them own armaments factories. :(

4. I bet if just one parent from each of the 1800 killed were to show
up in Crawford, he'd HAVE to meet with them.

Oh wait a minute Jojo, some of those parents are still in the mindset that their son/daughter gave their life to rid us of the man responsible for 9/11. Gee, how quickly we forget! :sarcasm:
