Help me formulate a call to our paper re Cindy and bush*

Our local paper, runs a call in collumn, people can call and leave their opinions. It's anonymous and kind of a chicken way of putting out an opinion, but they've already printed my ltte, that suprised the hell out of me.
They get some people who are truly amazing that they even know how to draw breath, there have been some stunning examples of right wing hatred, but lately there have been many thoughtful, well reasoned calls attacking the boy blunder*.
This isn't one of them.
what I'm thinking so far
Title: What are you scared of george?
Cindy Sheehan is just a middle aged grieving mother, a gold star mother. All she wants is 15 minutes of your vacation time, fifteen minures to ask why did her son have to die?

I need to keep it short and sweet, that way there's a better way of them publishing it, help me write a script.

1. Just my opinion...

No ruffled feathers if you disagree. :)

I would get rid of the word "vacation". We know that's what it is, but it leaves room for rebuttal. And I would change the last sentence to something like "Fifteen minutes to honor her son's sacrifice."

Being a little bit vague might cause more people to research what it is all about.

2. I kind of like vacation

People here work like dogs, vacation time is precious, they know that and to stress the ammount of vacation time this slug spends away from the people's visit might jangle a nerve or two.
I like the honor though, that may ring a bell as well.
