You think John Edwards is winnable? I wasn't too impressed with him during his debate with Cheney. In fact, I was disappointed. I thought since he was a plaintiff's attorney, he would think well on his feet.

5. I think he DID win the Cheney debate

He came across as earnest, intelligent, responsive when questioned ... while Cheney came across as a curmudgeon. Perhaps we expected too much from him, but if he had delivered that (opening a can of whoop-ass on an older guy), he would have been criticized for being too much of an upstart, not showing adequate respect, etc.

In another few years, I think Edwards will definitely be a contender. He hasn't got the paper trail of Kerry (or Hillary by the time we get to '08), he has the aura of an "outsider" (same as governors who run) but with the inside experience of a Senate term in D.C., and per James Carville, he's the best campaigner he's seen since Big Dog. Need I say more?

9. I really like John Edwards...

I haven't seen a lot of people 'pimping' him for 2008, but I loved his style. He's an awesome man, and his wife, Elizabeth, is so smart, and kind... THESE are the type of people who should be representing our country!

I'd love to see him run for President. I really had wanted the ticket to be flipped the last time - Edwards/Kerry - because I thought Kerry just didn't appeal to people the way John Edwards did...

I don't care what they say either! Edwards has many many pluses and if anyone has ever seen him at a Rally you will FEEL the energy.

Not only is he committed to his Poverty campaign, he has location and charisma. I think many of you here are simply overlooking a lot of what he has to offer. And the lawyer thing can be something to be proud of... he's no AMBULANCE CHASER!!!

So what if he was only a one time Senator. Maybe he's not so "hooked" to some of the Idiots out there who sit on their butts. Not only that, I think he actually does think Dean is doing a very good job, regardless of his earlier slip. He was MAN enough to say he didn't think it through and decided that he probably mis-spoke.

Much better than what we're getting now. And Elizabeth is an Ace in the Hole! If you've ever seen her in action you will realize what a great couple they are and how much they work for the same goals.

As a Liberal, I CAN and will support him! I think he's great! And I was an extremely committed Kerry supporter. Still sincerely think he would have been "heads above" what we have now.

But then again... he never did LOSE THE ELECTION!!
