HYPOCRITES! A definition and a suggestion for the GOP to drop the
Elephant & adopt the Hippo.

"Hippo-Talk?

Hippos make a of variety grunts, growls, screams and other sounds underwater to communicate with each other!

So many hippos may use the same path out of the water at dusk that it will become worn five or six feet deep. It's practically a hippo tunnel!

Hippos have huge mouths and teeth, even though they eat grass. A bull hippo's canines can grow to 28 inches long, and their mouths can open four feet wide!"

1. Aw, but I love hippos, especially their enormous teeth!
How about some sort of an alien, instead?

3. And they are misleading. They are just about the most dangerous
animal you can find.

5. Hippos can also be quite dangerous. They're more aggressive than
people realise. All the same, I'd hate to see the poor hippos slandered by being associated with the Repubs. Maybe we could give them the lamprey for their mascot.

Sea lampreys are parasites as adults and use their raspy disc-shaped mouth full of teeth to strike and hold fast to fish. They make holes in the sides of their victims and feed on blood and body fluids. They stay attached for hours, days, or even weeks. Large fish will most likely survive a lamprey attack with just a circular scar left on their side. Small fish may die immediately from the attack or will die from an infection from the large sucking wound.

7. Listen to this desription: small eyes; colsable nostrils; large head;
folds of skin; gray-blue skin; short tail; pink belly; short stumpy legs. Remind us of anyone?
