Will they even notice if we invade Iran?
As I'm listening to drum beat laying the groundwork of war with Iran on CNN right now, I'm wondering if half of America will even notice. Considering that so many still connect Iraq with 9/11, I can't believe they'll notice the one letter difference between Iraq and Iran.

8. Tactical Nuclear Weapons
Cheney and Rumsfeld are behind developing these weapons to be used in our next conflict. So, no troops just lobing missiles from a safe distance.

2. One word: Draft.
That could so easily push everyone over the edge. It's OK if your neighbour gets mown down in Iraq but once it's YOU in the firing line...

10. the REX 84 camps were in part anticipating protests to drafts
Bushler's broken them out recently, for what appears to be their precise intended purpose (smashing demonstrations/protests).

I found articles elsewhere describing the REX 84 camps being specifically intended for such (among other things).

4. You have a point.
They will probably say, "Didn't we already attack them?" If it weren't so frickin' sad it would be funny.

If they attacked in the early fall with the new TV line up of reality shows, I doubt anyone would notice.

I wonder how many Americans can point out Iraq on a global map?

6. As a foreigner
You wanna refrain from the "Americans are stupid" comments, but when you hear about these polls where people either still believe or don't care, you just wanna let fly

11. It's so obvious that Iran is next on the list. Everyday you hear
more & more in the news about Iran. It's just like it was with Iraq. Everyday just a little more, a little more. Then BOOM! we're bombing them. And I can't see the sheeple even noticing. That's why it was imperative for Bush (in his eyes) to get Bolton at the UN so that the Security Council could authorize the next war. Dejavu! Will the nightmare ever end?

we all knew but it's so different when you actually see it unfold. The draft is coming next.

13. They will notice alright.
Once their children or their neighbour's children start coming home in boxes. Then it will be too late. Unfortunately it's Fear Factor or American Idiot on tv, or preacher Joe-Bob down the street that will get their attention.

14. Never get the votes needed without LIHOP once again....
After being bullshitted on Iraq even the dumbass Dems who gave Bush the power he needed for Shock and Awe couldn't be taken again on an Iran invasion--Or could they??

15. Unless they call up the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, there are no
troops to go to war with in Iran. Shrub and his merry band of felons should have considered the possibility that a faux war might hinder the execution of a necessary war. We're at Iran's mercy.

16. Will people notice?
Absolutely, because oil prices will go through the roof. If we go to war with Iran, we'll remember $2.75 per gallon fondly.

17. Iran invasion would be a HUGE mistake
They arent Iraq. They have money and a military.

Even with * being as stupid as he is I cant see him being this maniacal. Iran is already in Iraq and there presence is growing. The weaponry use shows us this. Just another reason Bush should be impeached and imprisoned. Were between a rock and a hard place with him in charge. Hes just killing the US.

18. They're already building their "case" for invasion of Iran.
I was flipping through and caught a story about Iran on Faux news. They were basically saying that all the weapons/bomb materials & insurgents in Iraq are coming across the border from Iran.
