MSM's DSM excuses have been far from persuasive. Many in the public knew Bush was lying about Iraq in 2002, but apparently all reporters were smart enough to figure out that reporting as much was not in the job descriptions for "journalists" whose interests were more aligned with ensuring continued strong orders for durable and not-so-durable goods.

"Traitorgate," well, we'll see. Grand jury is not out yet, but the special prosecutor does have a new boss.

4. Abu Ghraib photo story

The original court-ordered release was 6/30. The DOD sent a whip-dick US Attorney to argue for an extension to 7/22. There is no record that that extension was ever granted by the court. That would suggest contempt. However, another DUer posted a piece saying that there was a court extension until 8/15. We will never see those damning pictures. Mark my word.

No WH response to DSM. Have you checked Conyers website recently? I haven't.

I think all of these are slowly coming together in 1 spot. They each had a big flurry of excitement about them, but are plodding on. I am waiting for the time they do come together-they lied, people died.
