As a Clark supporter I hope he loses in NH
Past history shows the winner ussually turns out to be the big loser in the end.

3. Hep me hep me understand. There's never been a primary schedule like
this, right? Usually there's 6 weeks after NH, right?
So there's no historical precedent for judging this year's primaries,
and the real meaning of Iowa and NH...right?

5. There's never an exact match with any historical precedent.
And timing is only one of the factors, of which demographics probably plays a much larger role.

I'd be more comfortable with second or third, but if you made me, hell, I guess I'd take first. Maybe the timing thing would outweigh the jinx.

4. Be careful what you wish for...
This election is history in the making, all bets are off, forget what past elections tell you, this is a very different time, a polarized nation, we can not rely on the past for this election, look forward! Now go cheer your heart out for your candidate!

7. Don't forget that when the campaign first started the aim was 3rd or 4th
in NH. Now third or maybe even second is possible. Wesley Clark has come along way in a very short period of time, and judging by the level of hate-filled tripe being aimed at him by the idiots on Fuax he has them really worried...

A good showing in NH, followed by a couple of wins on 'Southern Tuesday' and this race will start to look alot different. Dean and Kerry won't play well in the south and it'll be between Edwards and Clark.
