Musicians should unite with anti-war protest songs like the Stones

and Emininem's "MOSH" - Jackson Browne could re-release material from the 70's that would easily adopt to the Iraq war.

Bush takes it on the chin in the new Rolling Stones tune "Sweet Neo Con." In the most political song from their upcoming "A Bigger Bang" album, Mick Jagger sings: "You call yourself a Christian, I call you a hypocrite/ You call yourself a patriot. Well, I think your are full of !" Jagger tells Newsweek he's not sweating possible repercussions. "I think is a bit worried because he lives in the U.S.," crows the English rocker. "But I don't."

4. I was at the Vote For Change finale in DC...

with Bruce Springsteen, Jackson Browne, REM, Pearl Jam, Dave Mathews Band, Bonnie Raitt, Fogerty, Mellancamp, James Taylor and Natalie Maines. Eddie Vedder did an amazing cover of Masters of War and there were a lot of other good protest songs sung by the other artists. I'd love to see them all come together again for an anti-war rally. Somebody ought to rent a large plot of land in Texas and hold an impromptu concert in the next few weeks. It wouldn't even have to be in Crawford but it would be great if it was at least nearby.
