Until all American Troops in Iraq are Slaughtered
That's how long free republic members and the rest of the insane conservatives will support bush. With conservative civilian "leadership" and support from those who hate the constitution, there is no end in sight. We will stay the course because conservatives have no other fucking idea.

Conservatives in America are responsible for every dead, maimed, mutiliated, incapacitated American coming out of iraq. They are responsible for the rising gas prices at your local pumps. They are responsible for the ever rising national debt. They are the source of ignorance in this country.

Until all American Troops in Iraq are Slaughtered! What an incredible legacy for conservatives of the 21st Century. And no doubt the chickenhawks who never served but wave the flag are quite proud of that legacy.

If I'm wrong about any of this conservatives, please set me straight. Tell us about your exit strategy.

6. Bush is god to these people.
They would drink Jim Jonesy Cyanide Koolaid for Him without question. Fundie moms would die clutching their babies if Dear Leader ordered "the End." Sick.

3. They will project responsibility on someone else...
and there are enough stupid people in this country to believe them to keep them in power. At the very least, if by some miracle they did lose control of the power, it will likely take a decade or more to fix this horrible mess of a country and foreign policy.

4. They will support him until the next Al-qaeda attack in the US.
This will be the only lie that they will not be able to accept from Bush, "We are fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them here."

Believe me, they will understand that lie.

5. I got a question about that. From what I recall there are around 135,000
troops there. Or around that in the initial force and I have not heard of any significant drawdown or addition. So, with 1800 killed and 9000 to 43000 injured/wounded how many ABLE-BODIED active troops are really there?

Let's say

Original Level 135,000
KIA 1,800
Injured (not returning) 25,000

That leaves about 110,000. So because they are trapped by their "hell we only need 6 guys, a pick-em-up truck and 4 cases of vases to hold the roses" attitude they are stop-lossing the Guard into multiple tours.

Do I have that right or have they somehow "replaced" all those that are killed/injured and not returning?

Also, if WAR in Iraq was a necessity to fight terrorism, why did what little "planning" they did do have to do with only a war THERE? Shouldn't they have planned a MASSIVE force to take and secure the nation as the frontlines rather than as a secondary piece of the puzzle?

The second question is more rhetorical but I'm interested in thoughts on the first one.
