This from the mouth of a manager in my office who recently retired from the military. The conversation began with several people bitching and moaning about the high gas prices. Apparently, his solution is to just take over an oil producing country. I wonder if he noticed that Bush tried that and one RESULT of imperialism is higher gas prices.

It might have been amusing if he wasn't totally serious. He honest to God saw no problem with replacing another sovereign nation's government with ours. What is wrong with these people?! They have an utter inability to put themselves in someone else's position. Wonder what tune they'd sing if we were the ones being bombed? Idiot.

Thank you for letting me rant. It's been a tough week.
