AOL Poll Re: Ms. Sheehan...How should I answer?

Yes, he meets with her, and comes across as the asshole he is.

I'm leaning toward "No". What would be the point? Another fake gesture of compassion by Junior. He will never admit his mistake by going to Iraq. He, and all his rich buddies making millions on this war would prefer to drag our involvement out as long as possible. It just wasn't in the script that this many troops would actually die. That's the real problem for Bush and Co., not the deaths themselves; but the trouble they will have casting new players (troops) for his next big production in Iran.

The longer Ms. Sheehan stays out there, the bigger this gets.

I don't think he's capable of anything other than a fake gesture and pompous talking points, so in that sense I don't think it would do much good.

But his personality aside, I think a commander who sent troops to their death for no reason should meet with the people affected by that decision, if requested.

Cindy herself said in an interview with Keith Olberman tonight on his show ,that Her cause would be better served if he didn't come out, then she could follow him to Washington at the end of the month!!

6. I saw that, & of course, we all think it would be better if he didn't meet

with her. He's shooting himself in the foot by not meeting with her.

But the poll doesn't allow explanation for our answer, does it? Imo, if there is a majority of no's, without the benefit of reasoning, it tells the media that we don't believe in Mrs. Sheehan's cause.

Mrs. Sheehan's admission on Countdown is apples & oranges to what the intent of the poll was.

9. I agree that he looks more like the asshole he is by not meeting with her

but I don't think he'd be able to meet with her now after all that's happened. That'd look too much like he made a mistake.
