Let's pay Bush off
Edited on Sat Aug-13-05 05:01 AM by Bluesplayer
He's obviously in this for the money, so let's just pay him off. Here's the deal:

1. Bush agrees to pay Cheney $ 250 million from the US treasury, then fires him.

2. Bush appoints Lieberman, the most republican of the democrat senators, to fill the vice-presidency. Lieberman is approved by Congress.

3. Congress agrees to pay Bush $ 500 million to resign and stay away from politics and lobbying forever, and he goes back to Texas. We're open to Texas seceding from the union.

4. Lieberman works with Congress to change us back into the America we used to be.

I think this would be cheap at ten times this price, so negotiations are open. Tell me that they wouldn't even consider this.

2. No way...turn them over to the people of...
Iraq and Afghanistan, or hell, to Al Queda, if they stop their Jihad. The bushies have made a bundle of money already, yet they are still not satiated, so this is clearly NOT just about money.

3. I ran this by Dick...
Here's what he had to say:

A couple hundred million? You've got to be kidding! We "lose" more than that in Iraq each week. You're playing with the big boys now.

Besides, you fucking liberal assholes think I'm just in this for personal gain, and that's just wrong. I'm in it for corporate gain. So take a walk, hippie, unless you're talking big bucks.

I will give you a money-saving tip, though. If you can ever corner my nephew Georgie when he's alone, without me or Karl or Condi hanging around saving his ass, you can have him for the price of kewl video game, a new mountain bike, and a line of coke.

this is cash money. For them personally. No matter how well their interests do, and how much they stand to gain over time, this is a lot of cash, right now. They can use it to invest in Chinese internet and oil distribution stocks.

I bet Cheney, at least, would run it through his calculator....
