The one-sided "outrage" over the NARAL ad.... |
|
So outraged were they, that they forced it off the air. Because it was not "true". Much like the SwiftBoat ads in the last election, but they were not forced off the air? Why? Because the liberals did not have the power to force them off the air. Why was the NARAL ad pulled? Because the right-wingers had the power to force it off the air. Read into that what you will but the fact is clear as day. The American media is under the complete control of Republican conservatives.

I thought NARAL wasn't forced to do it but pulled the ad voluntarily.

2. Yes, they "voluntarily" jumped off the cliff... |
|
But if that is your perspective, that is your right to hold.

3. Roberts wrote that women at abortion clinics were not covered by |
|
the nation's civil rights laws. These are code words to enable violence against abortion clinics and to their care providers and patients. This is also the same sort of language that the rightwing uses to say that the murder and beatings of GLBTs does not constitute hate crimes.
Yep, Roberts, we know who you really are and what you really represent: the darkest impulses of the American psyche.

NARAL pulled the ad - appropriately.

5. It would still be on the air if... |
|
the right wing had not raised a stink. I am not convinced NARAL would have pulled it "voluntarily". Only after the controversy was it pulled.
