12. Whole month of August? That's what the godless yurpeens do.
(Sarcasm). As I was making my way through the blistering hot parking lot to the air conditioned heaven of the supermarket today, I thought with envy of all those Europeans who take the entire month of August off. I want to be sipping good French or Italian wine in the land where the grape was grown, anticipating a wonderful, leisure multi -course dinner (taking at least 2 hours). Then it hit me! After all those snotty remarks about old Europe, deep deep down Bush and the other neocons at the top of the money chain KNOW that the average European's lifestyle and work ethic result in a much higher quality of life than we have here.
