Cindy Sheehan is at least as qualified as either of them. And more likely to vote properly than Feinstein.

Not to say she's remotely interested, of course. But it's obvious that some replacements are needed in the Senate, and CA is one of them.

I can't help but think of the MORON we have for president and all the incompetent white house players. And also, we can't forget Jesse Ventura, who won for Governor of Minn., certainly he wasn't qualified to hold office. I once heard that Texas is a state that doesn't even need a governor to run it. Now I believe it!! I think anyone but another lawyer would work well for the people. Someone who identifies with plain old working people and understands their issues.

There is an entire thread about it. She is supposed to have said that Israel should get out of Palestine. Since at present, Palestine refers to that general part of the ME, then she is saying that Israel should cease to exist. If by it she means that Israel should withdraw to the 1967 borders, then she still loses Jewish support, and a lot of middle of the road voters.

....especially without a direct quote of what she actually said.

One interpretation of such a statement would be that Israel should pull out of territories generally thought of as Palestinian today i.e. Gaza.

There's nothing remotely anti-semitic about such a statement, and any "Jewish" vote she would lose for that reason would probably be voting pro-PNAC/pro Likud anyway. Thankfully, they are in the minority.
